Hon. Daniel Cummings, known as “De Waterman”, is a civil engineer with over 45 years of experience in water, wastewater, and solid waste management. He holds a Master’s in Engineering & Environmental Sciences (OU, Oklahoma), an MBA (UWI), and a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering (UWI, Trinidad). As a former General Manager of the CWSA for 17 years, he played a vital role in improving national infrastructure. A past President and current Trustee of the Caribbean Water and Wastewater Association (CWWA), he is committed to enhancing public utilities, sustainable development, and strong governance in West Kingstown.
